These trusted organizations provide free and confidential resources for education, prevention, and support. Whether you’re seeking information, counseling, peer-led meetings, or treatment referrals, each program below is dedicated to helping individuals make safer, healthier choices. You don’t have to face addiction or recovery alone—these groups are here to listen, guide, and empower you toward a life of balance and wellness.

Healthline (Alcohol Addiction Support)

Healthline offers expert-reviewed articles and guides on understanding alcohol use disorder, recognizing signs of addiction, and exploring treatment options. Their resources can help students learn more about alcohol dependence, cravings, withdrawal, and pathways to recovery.

Alcohol Education, Advocacy, & Policy Groups 

Organizations listed through Alcohol.org work on raising awareness, shaping public policy, and supporting education around alcohol misuse. They can connect students with advocacy groups, prevention programs, and community initiatives focused on reducing harm and promoting healthier choices.

Marijuana Anonymous

Marijuana Anonymous is a 12-step fellowship for those who want to stop using marijuana and find support from peers who understand. Meetings offer a structured, anonymous environment to share experiences, find accountability, and foster change.

American Heart Association – Quitting Smoking

The American Heart Association provides resources and guidance to help individuals quit smoking or using tobacco. Their health education and cessation support materials can help students reduce risks to their cardiovascular health and begin the journey to a tobacco-free life.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)

Nicotine Anonymous / QuitNowLA

SMART Recovery
