Vocational Nursing Pre-Requisite (PRQ) Program
Are you interested in enrolling in our Vocational Nursing program? All LVN students are required to complete the Vocational Nursing Pre-Requisite (general education) courses in advance of admissions. The VN PRQ is 100% online, and can be completed in as few as 4 weeks!
The next Vocational Nursing Pre-Requisite classes begin on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. If you need your Pre-requisite (general education) courses in advance of a Vocational Nursing program, we make it easy.

The VN PRQ course introduces the nursing student to critical thinking and basic arithmetic skills, as well as teaches basic medical terminology, normal anatomy and physiology, the interrelationships between structure and functions of human cells, tissues, and systems, the effects of disease on body systems, and medication dosage calculation. Students also learn study techniques and strategies to ensure success throughout the program.
The PRQ course is delivered 100% online. A certificate of completion for the course will be awarded to those who pass the course.

Total Clock Hours: 128
Wednesday and Friday from 6pm to 10pm and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2pm to 10pm

ACCREDITATION AND APPROVAL
Course is approved by the Bureau of Private Postesecondary Education in California (BPPE) and accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education (ACCET) at High Desert Medical College.
