At Integrity College of Health, our Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare students to enter the fast-growing healthcare industry. Medical Assistants are healthcare professionals who perform critical administrative and clinical tasks in support of doctors and medical practices. This 27-week program provides students with intensive training to learn the skills to perform important clinical and administrative tasks. Students in the Medical Assistant program learn from professional instructors, and receive real-world on-the-job experience through an Externship.
Students in the Medical Assisting program learn:
Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion, Medical Assisting diploma, and CPR and First Aid Certification from the American Red Cross.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics ranks Medical Assisting as among the fastest growing occupations over the 2020-2030 decade. Employment is projected to grow 18%, much faster than the average for all occupations (BLS). Medical Assistants hold jobs in hospitals, physician’s officers, private medical clinics, and other healthcare settings.

Length of Program: 27 weeks morning/afternoon or 43 weeks evening classes
Total Clock Hours: 800 (Classroom: 600 – Externship: 200)

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:
Prerequisites: Must have a high school diploma or GED and pass the entrance exam.
If you do not have a high school diploma, we offer the Eligible Career Pathway Programs (ECPP). Students will have the opportunity to earn their high school diploma while being concurrently enrolled in an eligible ECPP program. Please refer to the School Catalog for more information.
